01

Longer working time

A greater energy density than lead-acid batteries gives longer working times and more truck availability, and a full charge takes around two hours.

02

No battery maintenance

No topping up with water and no checking acid levels, so running costs are significantly lower than for lead-acid trucks.

03

Cold store friendly

Lithium-ion batteries keep their performance at temperatures below freezing, which suits cold store work.

Power towards a sustainable future

For years the lead-acid battery has been at the centre of every electric truck. It's simple and familiar, but it brings heavy trucks, regular battery maintenance and long charging times.

Hangcha now offers lithium-ion forklifts and warehouse equipment, using batteries from Contemporary Amperex Technology Ltd (CATL), a leading global supplier of lithium-ion batteries for electric vehicles.

  • Reduce your carbon footprint: lithium-ion batteries absorb more of the energy put in, with less waste, and can replace diesel counterbalance trucks.
  • Longer service life: up to 4,000 full charging cycles with at least 80% of capacity remaining.
  • Battery management: an advanced battery management system monitors the battery in real time, including heat management and overcharge protection.
